I’m shocked that SF will write homeowners. It pays to shop around.
 
Probably out of the $20Kish price range, but I sure love my 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser 6-speed manual*. Very capable off-road without the maintenance hassles Jeep. Only problem since new was replacing the alternator last year.

*Only about 10% came with manual tranny.
