CDL or willing to get one within 90 days (company funded), clean driving record, background, drug screen....multi-tasker with some mechanical and minimal computer proficiency. Maybe You Need A Different Kind Of Job
Have you ever thought about working out of town? I work the oil fields of northern Alaska and live in Nevada. I travel to work, work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for three weeks, and take three weeks off.
It called your hitch. A hitch can be 3 on 3 off, 4 on 2 off, 2 on 2 off, ect.
We oil field nomads stay in camps much like a barracks and get paid pretty well.

Does anyone know of anywhere hiring for $12/hr or more, in the Las Vegas Area? I also am looking for something that doesn't have a long hiring process as I am currently unemployed. Any possible leads are awesome and very helpful, thank you!

In fact, I offered him a full time job, but he is still looking in his industry, definitely my loss.

I have some great bids but I figured I'd see if any NS was looking to work on part of the project.

I was laid off from my job yesterday. I have 12 years experience in HOA management (A/R, A/P, collections, a little G/L and tons of customer service and problem solving!) and am interested in getting into the commercial side of property management. I also think my skills would transfer well to the title/escrow/loan industry or in the legal field and am very interested in those as well. Political Canvassing
One of my gig jobs at the moment is helping with a primary race for a state legislative seat. The candidate needs a handful more walkers to do door-to-door canvassing. I canvass myself and enjoy talking to all sorts of folks and getting paid for burning calories. I wouldn't post it here if it was a scam, a crappy candidate, or other nonsense. If anyone is looking for some temp gig work, this could be great.
It's all over the central west side of town. You use a free app on your phone to receive lists of registered Republicans in a certain precinct, knock those doors, gauge support for the candidate, and leave literature.
You need to be good with people and comfortable advocating for conservative principles. You don't have to have all the answers though, just build bridges for the candidate to contact the voter if desired. As you can imagine, there's a fair amount of walking, and it can be hilly. And warm. You'll be given a couple campaign t-shirts and a hat (they're white, thank goodness). You need to have your own transportation and smartphone. I'm cheap on data and this app doesn't make a big dent in my usage.
20-30 hours easy through the primary, June 14. Possibly a longer-term arrangement depending on the primary results. 10 am to 7 pm is the allowable range. Morning walking is ok, afternoons are ideal, and at least one weekend day of your choosing would really help too.
Pay is $14/hr.

Must know how to program, setup, and operate CNC mills and lathes in a prototype environment. MasterCam experience a plus but not required. Manual machine experience a plus also. Must have a strong grasp of GD&T tolerancing working to multiple Datums with tight profile tolerances. The job is dependent on passing an extensive background check. No drugs or prior drug convictions including the marijuana.
Pay can be $40+ an hour plus full benefits for qualified individuals. PM if you have the required experience.
