Yep, you got it right. You'll see the little thumps up and your name at the bottom of the message you "liked."
 
I know you're relatively new to the forum, so I'll give you another "heads up." Discussions about "offers," and such should be kept in your private message arena and not posted in the ad section. Those discussions are between you and the prospective buyer. Otherwise, it can be construed as if you're soliciting higher offers. The moderators will tell you that this is not a bidding or auction site. Just letting you know, that's all.

Private Message on most forums, and that is what it used to be called on this forum until the software got upgraded.
Now it is called a "Conversation", and I sent you one.
Look at the upper right corner of your screen when you read this post, you should see in the blue bar up there, an envelope icon with the word Inbox next to it.
If there is a bright read square over the envelope with a number in the red square, that tells you that you have a PM or Conversation waiting for you to read.
Just click on the envelope to open your inbox, then click on the message (s) to read them. The number in the red square tells you how many messages (conversations) are waiting, unread, in your inbox.
 
If my post HERE is the last one today, you can not bump the ad, meaning YOU the author of the ad, until 24 hours AFTER the time stamp of my post.
Anyone else can bump it with a post, at any time, say, to ask you a question, or to say they have sent you a PM, or to say they will take something in the ad, or for any reason.
Only the original poster of the ad is prohibited from bumping it for 24 hours after the last post.
