Yes it has, just did it too so I haven’t had the receiver engraved just yetThis has already been form 1d as a SBR?
So we’d have to do a Form 4 to your name out of my name. I work at Peacemaker Firearms and we can do all the paperwork here. The rifle would stay here until the form is approved.
Is there any way to confirm this i keep seeing conflicting informationOr it can be altered into non-NFA configuration and merely removed from the registry. Last I heard, this removal is not even required, but is just requested, so there is no need to even wait for an acknowledgement.
Then it can be reassembled once a new Form 1 is approved. Meanwhile, it wouldn't have to be "in jail." The Form 1 and Form 4 are both $200, so there's no difference there I can see. The Form 1 may even be a faster approval.
This ^^If you do a pin and weld, then transfer the firearm the firearm is transferred as a long gun (non NFA item) to the new owner. The seller then sends an email to the ATF NFA division using a template stating they are removing it from the registry. All that is needed is a copy of the F1/4 stamp, and a signature from the stamp owner. The ATF replies via email, and just save a copy for your records. I did this three years ago with a 107UR.
