Mother in law came across this. She was told it was a WWII bring back, but there is no paperwork to verify that. I searched for import marks and couldn't find any.

What's most interesting about this Model 1891 is the stock never had an upper handguard. After a bunch of research I found this drawing confirming early Model 91 stock configurations did not have it. Until now, I've never seen one that didn't.

Early Tula, 1898. Stock appears excellent without any damage I've noticed. Bluing is good for it's age, but not perfect as seen in photos. Numbers that I have found match. I'm not a gunsmith, but I believe this should be fine to shoot after cleaning it up.

$775 located in Mesquite - not Vegas, or Reno or elsewhere. Must come to Mesquite. This is an antique and does not require an FFL.
