Thanks for the update, Vegas. One can only hope they would follow their promise to process customer orders based on the received date. Given the fact Brownells already demonstrated this is NOT the case, my gut says it's just more customer service BS crafted to address the huge number of pissed off customers. Why Brownells would send an e-mail to all stating their policy/process, then do something entirely different is just dumb. You'd get fired at my company for being that stupid and disrespectful to customers.
I use Brownells, Midway USA and others for my parts and supplies and have for years. Based on this experience, I will be shopping other suppliers and only using Brownells when absolutely necessary.
