hate to say it, but I think your order fell through the cracks... Try calling customer no service again and try to get them to figure out what went wrong. I got mine on sale too.

I'm going to try calling them again on monday. It's getting a little ridiculous, I'll start calling everyday until it ships.

WTF? I ordered two (2) packs of ten (10) on 12/29/12. Received an order #, etc. No shipment, or order update since.

From what I have been told (via 10th person) Magpul is only making mags in black. They're doing the 20rds, the gen 2 and 3 both window and plain. And the ar-10/sr-25 in blk.

Well right now my account online says that order is being prepared for picking, so hopefully it actually ships. Last week it said that for part of my order for a couple of days, and then nothing shipped.

Well I just got off of a twenty minute phone call with Brownells and basically they can't tell me why my order from 12/21 has not shipped and orders placed after that have shipped.
Disappointed in Brownells also... order placed 12/18 here, showed stock when I ordered then got the email stating:

"It is our promise to fill all backorders as quickly as possible. We will not cancel your backorder unless you specifically request us to do so. Orders will be filled and shipped based on the date they were received. We will ship backordered items as soon as inventory arrives in our warehouse..."

Guess all that new business means customer promises go out the window...

Earlier today it said "being prepared for picking," just like it did last week, now it says nothing. This is getting ridiculous.

The number I called is their main customer service number, then I got bounced around to different people for a while.

When I called today they said that my order was still on back order. It doesn't show anything online. The lady said that they were not picking orders in the order placed the had crews working around the clock to fill the orders. I bet they are hoping we will cancel our orders just so they don't take the hit for shipping

I just got off the phone with them again. She said that they are picking them in the order they were placed and should begin shipping in February. I told her I know a bunch of people who placed orders after me and they already received their orders. She said she can't do anything to check on that without order numbers or invoice numbers from those orders. She did say that they have been hearing that from a lot of people.

Thanks for the update, Vegas. One can only hope they would follow their promise to process customer orders based on the received date. Given the fact Brownells already demonstrated this is NOT the case, my gut says it's just more customer service BS crafted to address the huge number of pissed off customers. Why Brownells would send an e-mail to all stating their policy/process, then do something entirely different is just dumb. You'd get fired at my company for being that stupid and disrespectful to customers.

I use Brownells, Midway USA and others for my parts and supplies and have for years. Based on this experience, I will be shopping other suppliers and only using Brownells when absolutely necessary.

My invoice number is 08364439.00 just in case somebody wants to prove that they afre not being shipped in order of the date they placed the order. My Order was placed on January 7th and I already got mine last week.

Just got off the phone with them again. Apparently the first two girls I talked to didn't have any clue what they were doing because both of them told me that my order was set to ship as items are received. The girl I just now talked to said that everything was set to ship all at once. Then she told me that I had two ten packs of Pmags, a .308 Pmag and a lower parts kit allocated to me and just waiting on another magazines that they actually already shipped. She switched it to ship as its received and she said it should all be getting shipped out now.

If you had more than one item one your order, call and make sure that it is set to ship as received!

I can't even get through to check on my order. I'm sure their phones are blowing up over how poorly they handled this back order.

Just read on FB, they are blaming IT and 'a glitch in the system' on their inability to support a 'first in, first out' back order clearance... weak. I thought they were the 'World's Largest Supplier of Firearms Accessories'?! <grin>

UPDATE: finally got through... customer service acknowledged they did not process back orders appropriately and that their actions were not consistent with their e-mail promises to back ordered customers. The net-net is they have no stock and no ETA for shipment... but 'I secured my place in the back order queue'... um, yeah... thought I did that back in mid Dec. Candidly, I'm not really that concerned about the order itself. I'll get it when I get it and life goes on. More pissed about being lied to and my business disrespected... I'm small potatoes in the big scheme of Brownells Inc so won't matter one way or another to them but in the future I will be sending my hard earned dollars to other suppliers.
