Post your offroad vehicle

The one thing I don't want is electronics! Technology hates me!

Give me a good old carb any time.

then in that case get yourself a built q-jet!!! Shaun Murphy induction out of Huntington beach built mine. i dont have over drive in the car but its supporting 600hp should have no problem getting mid 20s on the high way with it. you give him all your cam specs, heads, intake, exhaust...........and so on and they custom build one for you

got me a big 'ol 800:driving:

I've had good luck with Holleys, and I also have a new Edelbrock waiting for a home. I don't need or want 600hp. The 413hp in my '66 El Camino is enough for this grandpa!

I'm probably going to trade the drag motor I have for a tame 350, and try to stuff that into the Jeep sometime down the road.

400 will still scoot you down the road! and with the '66 it sounds like there's some classic style in there too! didnt start out looking for 600, just started building and didnt know when to stop. i may have a problem.

Should I post my Rzr? lol

Bringing this thread back.

Just got rid of my F150 for an FJ Cruiser. Looking forward to getting back out on the trails!

Here's a cool video one of the guys did with his gopro of our wheeling. I only went out for one day so not a whole lot of me in the Frontier.

Thanks NYECO, I'm still ckecking into the "deal". Me and a buddy are thinking about getting a chevy "block" and just doing the rebuild as a hobby since I'm in no rush. I've built a few chevy engines in my life so I don't figure it would be a big problem. Y'all wouldn't believe the prices everyone that I've called around here want for the job. The AVERAGE price is $4,000.00.
I just found a nice 350 with good compression, put in a street cam, roller timing chain and a holley double pumper. 700R4 trans. hugger headers, flowmaster exh.
if you do everything yourself and you're a good scrounger it can be done cheap.

My 2004 Wrangler X 4.0 with a manual transmission that I picked up 2 months ago with only 45,000 miles on it. Someone kept this thing in the garage and it was well cared for. I plan on lifting it soon another 3", changing the bumpers out and going with a little bit bigger tires. It will be used mostly for medium trail runs rather than rock climbing on top of being my daily driver.
