Well u should check out red rock loop an u can take the trail potato ridge also Boulder City there is burrow wash I just got by back from torquervill falls Utah

Road.to Alamo starting on 95 going through the desert national wildlife refuge. Do it before the feds close the road.

If you start on Corn Creek Road, hit the office. They have maps you can photograph.
I've heard of Burro Wash. I've been wanting to check out that trail. Is it a long and difficult trail? My Cherokee has done potato ridge/rocky gap and wheelers pass several times. My only issue is that I do not have A/C and don't want to be out there during the hot summer months. I'd like to check it out when it cools a bit.
The pioneer saloon trail may be perfect for your set up. I think the Raptor would be much too wide for potato ridge/ rocky gap road and wheeler's pass. Death Valley has some nice trails the raptor should do well in. The trails by Jean Lake Bed where they do the Mint 500 would be great for you.

I've done Wheeler in a full size truck several times, and Your right unless He want's to pinstripe the
Elk, deer..antelope. Especially elk. Mine was months old on it's first elk hunt, broke it in real good.
As for trails..Between Nelson's Landing turnoff and Searchlight has all the trails you can handle. Everything from high speed, limiter-bouncing roads, to creeping, technical trails that will twist the truck. Grandpa's/Grandad's road, and branch out from there.
Don't forget water, a shovel and snatch strap..minimum. That would be an absolute minimum.

^^The jack is a little short, but the lift-mate is the only way to high-lift a Raptor without screwing something up.
A 48" jack and the LM will get your wheels out of some serious holes.

I've done Wheeler Pass in my F150 (non raptor), but I don't care about the desert pin stripping. The Pahrump side was much wider and smoother if I remember.
I've never joined them, but there is a local club you might be interested in.

If you want to be one of the cool raptor guys and look down on everything but raptor check out Southern Nevada Raptor Group (SNRG) they're on Facebook as nevadaraptors.
I usually hit the area south of M down to Primm. As someone else has stated they run a lot of off-road races down there and there are miles and miles of trails. I'd go play thee before they shut it all down. Here's s trail we did a couple weeks ago in a couple F150s, but there a little wider than a stock raptor. There was only one rocky section where I was questioning WTF I was doing there. I'm more into going as fast as I can over whoops than rocks but this was a fun trail.
