I'm looking for a new concealed-carry and am looking for a Walther P99c. If you have one you would be willing to part with, please contact me with the details (what's included, price, etc.). Am willing to purchase from anyone locally in southern Nevada. Thanks!

Man.. the p99c is a becoming a rare bird. At least with the AS trigger. I remember last year the seller on GB “Shoot Straight” was selling off 1 at a time claiming they were the last retailer to have them. One went for over $1000 in auction. (Guy must of really wanted it I guess)
Not sure if Walther is producing any more either. PPQ seemed to have replaced, not positive on that though.
I picked up one in .40 and one in 9mm.
I might be convinced to sell one, but on the fence.. give me a day or two to ponder the idea of letting one go.

I'm not sure how true that is. I see them pop up on armslist all the time. One just sold there a few weeks ago for about 450. The seller had another buyer before I emailed him.

Not sure how true it is that Walter stopped manufacturing new ones either. But there was some hype going around on some other forums in late 2018 that I believe lead a few people to overpay. I searched high and dry for a new p99c 9mm. The only place I could find a new one was on GB from seller- Shoot-Strait. They listed 1 at a time about 15-20 times (which was a smart idea by them, help feed the hype I feel) The 4-5 that sold after mine sold for 6,7,800 and then $1,000+.
Not saying they are worth this by any means.
In the second hand market, ya no problem finding one.

Good to hear!
Out of curiosity, I pulled up Walther's website and it's still listed as one of their current firearms so it would seem as though they are still being made.

might of been me. The compact P99as, the anti stress trigger was fun to mess around with but at the same time it was kind of hard to use shooting one handed. Full sized P99/PPQs are great i'd recommend them to anyone with short fingers, but ccw sized it was just not all that.

cons
- harder to keep control of the subcompact gun, while activating the long lever mag release. i had to change my grip a lot on each reload
- shorter rail won't fit normal sized lights or lasers
- the mag sleeve costs like $25 if you can find one
- the one i shot wasn't all that accurate, don't know if this is common
- HIGH bore axis! really hard to shoot one handed
- anti stress = can't be milled for red dot

I wish Walther would make lever mag release swappable, something more like the HK lever but longer that shape could be a perfect mag release.

I have several walthers. I had the P99AS and couldn’t get used to the trigger. Sold it. I now have a P99Cqa and I’m happy with it. I also have the M1 PPQ and the version 1 PPS. Both are great. I also greatly prefer the trigger card magazine release.

I really liked the idea of the P99 AS for concealed carry. I was pretty set on getting one last year until I discovered that Walther used some proprietary rail on the P99, so options for lights and accessories are slim to none. Too bad.
