Just bought a new 8lb. jug of Winchester WST powder by mistake! Can not use it for reloading 9mm. Paid $220 for it at the range swap meet this past weekend.
Would sell it for the same price of $220. I will also give the buyer of the 8lb jug, a free 1 lb bottle of the same powder!!

Google some independent load data as their seems to be a ton of info out there. Brianenos would be a good place to start. As always start conservatively. Given the interchangeability of shotgun, 45 and .38 powders, hard to believe you can't make it work.

Edit: Just as I suspected, on the burn rate chart it is listed lower than Titegroup, AKA slower. It's also above CFE Pistol.

As stated above, GLWS but if Titegroup (fastest) and Power Pistol (Slowest) were goal posts for 9mm powder selection, WST is nearly dead center. Especially being a ball powder I'd be using that in a heartbeat!

Hey, thanks guys for the info, I did do some checking, but maybe not enough!! Really was hoping to use it when I saw it for sale!
