WTS Winchester M 1897 Shotgun mfg. in 1897 $1050
Just gone through by The Gun Doctor. Not perfect, but a good shooter. Barrel has been cut to 20 inches, is pitted, and the finish is only a vague memory. Action is excellent. Gun is in good shape for being 124 years old. Probably could tell some pretty interesting stories. It’s a solid frame, not a take down. S/N 48xxx is either late 1897, or early 1898.
With that manufacture date it’s not classified as a firearm by the ATF; no paperwork is required. More photos available.
