For sale is a 28" 12 gauge Weatherby Orion made by SKB in Japan, before Weatherby moved their production to Turkey. And I would put the quality, fit and finish right up against or even above the other popular Japanese shotguns (ie Browning Citori). Excellent trigger, barrel selector, multi-chokes, 3" shells, action locks up like a bank vault.
I've put about 1000 rounds through it now without a hiccup, including the recent SCI Sporting Clays Tournament last weekend. Not sure of the total round count but it looked new when I got it.
Comes with:
The Grade II/III oil rubbed walnut stock pictured
The original wood stock (not pictured but also in excellent shape).
4 choke tubes (a full, modified, light modified, improved modified).
A full parts kit to refresh the action whenever it needs it (lever spring, hammer springs etc).
SKB still supports these Japanese Weatherby's so parts are readily available.
