Got a private message from paigepeter40 saying he has a great deal on a Savage 99 for me - several beautiful pics of a gorgeous 1947 99 EG with Leupold scope and a box of ammo for $550. Only he's located in Montana, so I'll have to use Zelle or Paypal and have it shipped to Nevada.

Well, I'm currently traveling across the US, so I said what's your address? I can probably stop by on my way home.

Crickets.....

It's been a week - is the guy a scammer?

He was on this morning at 12:39 am. so I'd say he's avoiding you!
