I've started a YouTube channel. I'm going to try to take it seriously, but it's for fun, not for profit. I'm learning everything as I go. One thing I've realized is that I'll want to do a lot of the editing while I'm traveling, as I'll have the deadtime anyway. So I need a laptop computer that I can run DaVinci editing software on, managing video. From my research I need at least 16GB of RAM, 512 GB SSD, and a dedicated GPU of at least an RTX 3050. Before I buy from Amazon to have it delivered Friday, I thought I'd run it by you guys for ideas or see if someone has upgraded from that and has one available for sale.
Oh, and while I understand they MIGHT be better, and I did use one in college, I do not want an Apple. I'm using PC and Android, so it's too late to hang with the cool kids. So we're talking Windows 11 or fully updated Windows 10 (22H2) (Creators Update version 1703 or later)
When I'm rich and/or famous (preferably the former), I promise to forget you ever helped me get started.
