We’ve just received in another huge lot of used guns. Pistols, Revolvers, Rifles, Shotguns, 37mm launchers, black powder and more!!
Our staff is verifying the list, logging the guns in, function checking, etc now.
Rules of Engagement:
1) We will not hold guns in advance
2) We cannot check inventory over the phone or e-mail once the sale begins
3) We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the list as we’re still going through the lot
4) Prices and Availability are subject to change
5) You must show up in person to catch these great deals – LOCAL SALES ONLY
6) We CAN ship guns to another FFL once purchased in store
7) We CAN transfer to C&R licenses when applicable

There are a couple on the list I am interested in, but with no 'saving' or reserving, no pics, and the fact that price and/or availability CAN CHANGE (Why is that? The CMMG AR 15 Good! $82.50 comes to mind), I really don't want to drive 85 miles to Smogville just to be disappointed. :frown5:

Bob, it doesn't make sense for us to take pictures of 300+ guns that will all sell in 2-3 days once we put them out anyway. They're blow out prices.

The reason that it may change is the list we posted is the list we used to bid on the lot. The conditions that were presented to us on the list may not be the same as what we think they are once we have time to go through them, clean them up, function check them all, etc. They also commonly swap guns out in these lots after the bid is placed, or crooked cops strip certain ones for parts, etc, etc, etc.... there's a lot of variables. We've done a few of these and sort of have it down now.

Yes, it will be a mad house from Wed to Sun, but there will be a ton of great deals to be had, so for most people that "score" it will be worth it for them.

Like I said, we've tried the reserve deal and there have been too many deadbeats that don't come pick up what they reserve in a timely fashion (or at all). Because we will have "all hands on deck" for the first few days of the sale and the store will be so busy, we choose not to check inventory from the list over the phone or e-mail. Someone would call, the gun would be in the case, and they drive up 4 hours later and are mad because its not there anymore and we said it was. Cash carries when we do blow out sales like these.

The CMMG is a lower receiver if that helps that one make more sense.

I wouldn't expect pics on that many guns. And if the list is just what your paperwork says, before their swaps, omissions, etc., I don't envy what you have to do to get this sale rolling!

I wasn't complaining, just saying why I will probably pass on this. I get claustrophobic on one of your regular busy days! :laugh:

I've been to the other sales, and plan to go to this one too. The only constructive criticism I would lend is to somehow number the guns and lay them out by number or something like that.

I think it was the first sale, the guns were numbered, but no one had any idea where any of them were. The tags had the number, but they were just sprawled out on the tables, and in the other room (other suite). It truly was first come, first served. If I could have gone straight to the 5 or 6 I was interested in, I might have been able to pick those up right away, buy and get the hell out. Instead, I spent several hours in the store looking at everything trying to find the few things I was really interested in...some were probably already picked up by the time I got to wherever they were originally, but I had no way to know that. I'm sure I just hemmed up some other people by being in their way.
