The mount and optic came on a rifle I purchased a few years ago and while they work great, I have decided to go a different direction for optics. I have used the optic maybe a total of 5 trips to the range (if that). The glass is clear and the finish is good but there are wear marks on the battery cover slot where I used a quarter to turn it (I take the battery out every time) and in the mounting screw being worn (pics make it looked rounded out, it is not, nor is it worn). Note: In the "Front" photo, that white spot on the battery cover is a reflection of light, the finish is still intact.
