3" barrel, , appears functional, very nice condition sans the fingernail sized spot of nickel worn off (seen in the left side photo).
Serial number puts it on the earlier side of the First Model production years of 1888-1902. However, as I don't know the exact production year, selling as C&R rather than "Antique".
These were made between 1860-1870, making it an antique and no FFL required (unless shipped)
This thing looks so shockingly nice, I thought it was a repro or commemorative, but so far I haven't been able to find that REMINGTON they ever made a repro. From every indication, this is the real deal!

Listed in Flayderman's guide as made by Brown Manufacturing Company and Merrimack Arms Company, Newbury Port, Massachusetts from 1866-1873 (just after Civil War)
