Velodyne is one of the largest subwoofer companies in the world. With different lines of subwoofers and an independent EQ system.
It’s easy to understand why. They've dominated the high-end market for quite some time.

The “DPS” of DPS-12 stands for Digital Power Slot. The Digital part refers to the DSP chip inside the subwoofer with set EQ curves (Movies, R&B - Rock, Jazz - Classical, and Games). Each setting uses a different curve and subsonic filter setting (refer to below). The Power Slot portion of DPS refers to the slot-ported design of the subwoofer enclosure.
