This post ^^^ should have been a PM to a Mod or to me, but none the less, technically the first I'll take it posted in the ad has the claim to the item, Erik didn't follow the rules, it's up to the buyer which member he sells to, HOWEVER, (sticky wicket here) IF he sells to the buyer who DID NOT post an "I'll take it" first by time stamp in the Ad, then the one who did, in this case, Major702, is within his rights and the rules to leave BillsMafia a negative feedback for failing to follow the rules.

We can't force a seller to sell to anyone (well, we can, but the Genieva Convention, The Hague Accords, and the Argellian treaty of 7243 all frown upon it, something about the use of Klingon pain sticks being prohibited, narrow minded folks in all those cases!)

This rule exists to PREVENT such legitimate negative feedback being necessary.

Up to you, Bill, how you proceed, but if you get the negative feedback from Major, DO NOT leave retaliatory feedback, that would be a violation of the rules.
To prevent this, you could have immediately, after consorting with Erik, CLOSED the ad before anyone could put an I'll take it (other than Erik) in the ad.

And since we are airing all this dirty laundry in public, ERIK., please read and follow the trading post rules in all future transactions.

So, since we are ed jaw muh katin folks here in this ad, what to do if you think you want to buy something, but need to be sure it will fit or work for you first?
Put "I'll take it Pending Inspection" in a post in the ad.
THEN contact the seller, find out if it will work, strike the deal, or, if it won't work, come back and edit your "I'll take it pending inspection" post to be just a period, like this .
Or use the report button in that post to ask a mod or admin to delete the post, explaining in the report that after talking to the seller, you found it won't work for you.

Other options include shaving your head to a mohawk, dying it purple and orange, putting in multiple facial piercings and tattoos, changing your name and moving to Zimbabwe to avoid having me harass you. That won't work, but at least you can try!

By the way, when all this is done, I will delete my posts in this ad,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ahhh, it's good to be A.I.!
