2008 Yamaha WR 450 Street Legal

In fantastic shape. I bought it close to 3 years ago. Brought it home and went through it, top to bottom. The bike has very low hours/miles so was already in fantastic shape.

Made street legal. Clean NV title in my name. Came from CA so this was a fun project.
All wiring done right. Tied into factory harness to keep factory brake light and to use factory power switch to send signal to lights. No wires were spliced. Everything done with proper terminal connectors that were soldered and fit into factory connectors
rear lights kept small to attach to factory brake light. Up front it has heavy duty Zeta brush guards with built in turn signals - very nice pieces
Had a little of the traditional ‘yamabog’ so removed carb and rebuild completely. MJ is 175 vs 162 factory, PJ is 48 vs 45. Added remote air mixture screw. Put on all new clear breather lines.
Checked valves. Minor shim changes to bring within spec. Intake between .10-.15 and exhaust .2-.25. Cams were removed and mic’ed for tolerances. All were perfect. Again, very low hours so not a lot of wear. Put in new plug. Cam chain and adjuster were good.
All fluids new, always cared for and changed regularly.
Tires like new
Plate mounted up under rear wheel
Has battery tender
Has Dynatek FS Ignition module. On-the-fly adjustable with couple switches.
Had suspension serviced and built for my specs. Approx 190lb rider plus gear. New springs in front.
Aftermarket exhaust. I believe Yoshimura, but it is a beast.
Aftermarket Guts seat
chain and sprockets in good shape
new air filter
silicone radiator hoses
all bearings and seals checked and replaced if needed: wheels, swing arm, etc
Have installed numerous pieces of billet pieces to bike for function and looks: rear axle blocks, brake rotor guard, wheel bearing dust seals, oil plugs, brake cylinder caps, oil filter cover with new oil filter (I believe I put in reusable stainless filter)
Have factory Owner’s Service Manual
All the free mods were done (throttle stop, grey wire, etc)
Probably have few misc parts to go with it

I’m sure I am missing something. In short, it was a clean bike when I got it and is a great dual sport. I just dont ride it much. Still has little yamabog that might be cured with a little tinkering, but nothing serious. Registration is next to nothing for the year and same with insurance. Technically it may need sideview mirrors. And tires are not DOT. But I ride 80% dirt so not a big deal.

Asking $5500. Stabilizer does not come with it, but is negotiable. On the Sw side of town, near south point casino.
