recently got this in a multi gun trade, and builds aren’t really my thing. So here it is. Owner said it is a STG58 build on an imbel receiver allegedly built by Mark at Arizona Response Systems. Best I’m the industry. Looks very nice and hardly used. Non matching kit. Incorrect flashhider. I am admittedly not a FAL expert so please ask clarifying questions.
$2k obo. Trade for various imports and post WWII snipers. In particular, been looking for a AES-10b built on surplus parts (70s dated trunion), saiga in 5.45, fs2000, etc…Can add cash on my end if needed.
I asked Mark if he was able to confirm if this was his handiwork, and he had the below to say:
90% of m builds will have ARS PHX (or SUPR) AZ in front of mag well.
I can find no record of that serial number which would have been early 1999 if it was sent in immediately after purchase. (I have many other PAC 4xxx)
I can say that I would have tone the trigger & hammer pin in black.
