WTB Steel and stands

There used to be a local LV member who made and sold steel targets and stands.

Is he still around? Anyone know who this is?

Otherwise seeking recommendations for resellers or let me know if you have targets you’re selling.

Looking for a t post or 2x4 stand and hanger, as well as a 60-66% IPSC target with the hostage head adapter and target to practice with.

I bought 7 targets off this guy on eBay. Been using them for a year. Mostly pistol at 10-25 yards, but also a good bit of 223/556/8mm at 75-100 yards.

How’s that 1/4” steel holding up vs 3/8” or 1/2”?

Fo what its worth I seen walmart is selling a couple of plate options. They also have stands that I saw when I was last there. Not sure the specifics on them as I just caught a glimpse of them as I walked by.

I use 1/4 for 22, 45acp, and 9mm. I have a few 3/8 for 223/556. Though I have shot my 1/4 with 223 at 100.

Got a pic of that base cause the 2x4 base that came up for me is around $60.

Forgot to mention. If you go with the 2x4 route. You want to get the steel challenge style targets or steel challenge style silhouettes and the 2x4 caps as well as the 2x4 armor (skinny version).
If you go for hanging gongs I highly recommend the rubber hanging straps.

We used homemade 1/4 mild steel targets when I was a kid. It's also how I learned to stick weld, repairing them after every outing. We had Mini-14s and learned that a 223 will put a 1/2" copper plated hole through 1/4 A36 steel at 100 yards. Impressive.
