I really don't understand about steel tariff. Trump is suppose to place a 25% tariff on imported steel products imported, starting next week. Would this affect the price of imported steel ammo?
Maybe in the long run. A 25% tariff is bad, all that is a tax on the consumer. We the people will end up paying it. Not countries importing steel here. That's why the stock market fell 400+ points yesterday. The price of everything made of steal will go up. From automobiles to toasters, and when we don't buy the goods jobs will be lost.
This president confuses me. He does some of the most conservative things and then turns around and does some of the most liberal things.
I believe that the proposed tariff is only on raw steel products. Not goods made with out of country steel.
And remember, at this point it is only "proposed". I feel that there may be enough push back to modify/cancel it.
