This was one of 15 guns done in 2010 with an aluminum frame. All of the 10-8 guns prior to 2010 were steel-framed. In 2010 they did a run of both steel and aluminum, and I don't believe there were any guns done after 2010, so this is a pretty rare pistol. I'm the original owner, I took delivery in Oct. of 2010.
I have shot this gun, it is not a safe queen, but it is in excellent shape. there is **minor** holster wear of the nose of the slide and the finish on the side of the left safety paddle is worn. I carried this gun occasionally and I shot one 500-round class with it. I'd estimate no more than 1500 rounds total.
I did change the grips out, and I have long since sold or misplaced the originals. I believe Hilton is planning on doing a new run of 10-8 grips soon.
I have the original box, docs, and three mags. I ran the gun with Wilson mags exclusively, the original mags are unused.
