Diemaco colt later known as Colt Canada
Diemaco C7 upper, aka the M16A1 here in the states.
All original parts and proper markings.
Unknown round count but in very great condition, and very accurate rifle.
The Canadians bought a Chrome HF chrome plated barrel making machine from Colt but patented their own chamber and rifling system, these are known to be superior in terms of accuracy compared to the USA M16A1 counterpart.
C marked upper, C marked barrel, C marked gasblock and D Marked BCG. A1 grip is C marked and it has an A1 stock.
According to online forums it was made between 67-69
They then moved on to the C7A1, all up to the C7A3 which are 100% made in Canada.
The surplus parts kit is on a aero precision lower.
