Selling my Taurus 605 that needs some TLC. The cylinder and crane will fall out during a typical reload but the lock-up is good, the timing is good, and it will fire.

Don't buy this if you need a defensive handgun. Don't buy Taurus in general if you need a defensive handgun. This is a range toy or for someone who likes tinkering with guns that have issues.

It's up for grabs for $150. If you can figure out how to make the crane and cylinder stay in place when reloading then congratulations. If you don't care and just want a cheap range toy, then here ya go. Until you get the crane/cylinder issue fixed I'd personally stay away from loading it with .357 magnum.

Preferred FFL is Reno Guns & Range.

Wrong screw in the side plate. The correct screw holds the crane.
The screw head is all buggered up so the side plate has been off in the past. See pic below. media.jpg

I appreciate the responses, everyone. This truly is a great community.

I will still sell to pmn357. My original plan when I got this revolver was to fix it up and sell it but I never got around to it. I personally don't care for it.

Thank you again to those who posted advice, it is greatly appreciated.

If pmn doesn't take it, I'll line up for seconds.

Yeah lifetime warranty. I've used it twice in 30 years.
