Details:
The Mini-14 Ranch Rifle has the factory picatinny rail installed on top for scope mounting but it can be removed easily. It comes with four 30 round magazines and two 5 round magazines. Originally purchased new in 2018, it has less than 500 rounds through it.

This rifle was purchased in California, however, it’s my understanding that Mini-14 “Ranch” models do not come with threaded barrels, regardless of where purchased. Their website shows none of the Ranch models having a threaded barrel. Only the Mini-14 Tactical and Target models come with threaded barrels, from what I’ve gathered. So yes, this model does not have a threaded barrel, but it is not a California specific version.
