What's the difference with a p22 CA versus a regular p22?

The P22CA is the California version. The barrel is threaded, but a "cap" is glued onto the threads so that you can never use the threaded barrel for silencer. 99% of all homicides in California are committed by broke thugs are done with very expensive silencers.
Many have been able to remove the cap and clean off the glue.
Apparently in California, threaded barrels have resulted in thousands of innocent deaths (sarcasm).
