This is the gun I started competing with back in the day... since replaced by all manner of guns (none of which make me a better shooter, but all of which I enjoy). It remains one of the best guns for IDPA, USPSA, Steel Challenge, PCSL... name it and it's fantastic for it.
I can't remember anymore, but I do know I upgraded all of the internals and polished them. The trigger is buttery, and I'm fairly certain I still can't outshoot this gun. Grip tape (rubber texture) already installed but you can install your own very easily.
Including the original Vortex Venom 3MOA dot -- which remains one of the better options for competitions where durability isn't the issue, but dot clarity is. Great way to get started in Carry Optics.
The lowest price I can see for these new is $420 plus shipping, FFL fees, and the like. The lowest price for a new Vortex Venom I've found is $250.
Happy to part with this for $500 total. If you're buying for a younger shooter (under 21) to introduce them to the shooting sports, let me know and I might discount it further to encourage more youth participation. (Obviously, you should be a parent buying for yourself and letting your kids shoot it under your supervision for Form 4473.)
Comes with 2 20-rd magazines with the factory baseplates; you'll want a third magazine and they're far more available now than they were a couple of years ago.
Holsters are available if you want/need them. Inquire within.
Meet at Ventura Firearms, and buyer pays the fees.
Trade goods (partial or full):
- HS 507Competition
- HS 407CO (8moa ring)
- Factory brass-cased .357 magnum ammunition
- Glock-brand Glock 19 or 34
Thanks for checking it out!
