This is a very rare Romanian AK in 7.62 x 39, from what I can tell in my research, less than 5% of the fully built and completed in Romania for double stack magazines with dimples (not like a WASR that was imported single stack and milled out to take double stack traditional AK mags and no dimples that prevent wobble and proper lockup) I have a owned this rifle since brand new and only shot golden tiger, or silver or golden Bear through it. Round count is sub 500 rounds and it is one of the most accurate Ak platforms I have ever shot out of the box. This was imported as a complete rifle with the original Romanian receiver, barrel. And all components except for the 922r components such as the Tapco G2 trigger system. The much more readily available SAR-1s with the wooden stock are bringing $1300-1500+ online. This is a beautiful and rare rifle to add to your collection or just take shooting. It also has the much rarer dark reddish front furniture and is completely unmolested. It does come with a period correct sling and 2 magazines. complete parts kits sub receiver with matching numbers with the original barrel are bringing over $800 at this point and this is a complete factory built rifle. I am asking $975 And can be transferred close to smoke Ranch in Torrey Pines. Other than the Yugoslavian rifles hitting the market now, it is very hard to find an imported fully assembled AK platform rifle, and this one has sub 500 rounds on the clock as it was a mainstay in my collection but unfortunately I was laid off and still catching up. There is not a speck of rust and this rifle has a shiny crisp barrel, with very pronounced lands and grooves and of course, every single number on the rifle matches.

i almost forgot this does have the factory scope or optic mount mount as well, so it is optics ready with an easily attainable mount.

This is a good deal on a scarce AK. The military push button stock alone is worth $150+ and the side rails are great to have! Two of them that I had were accurate as well.

Thank you for recognizing it for what it is, most people nowadays assume it’s the same as a palmetto state or Kalashnikov US rifle. It’s not the same and does not have the same history was not built on the same equipment as the Soviets and com block countries used for decades.

I would purchase this before any new Yugo, Wasr, WPB ect. Only new ones that I may prefer are $500+ more, the Arsenal or Beryl. Would never want any non-import AK for a variety of reasons. Romanians are true com-block goodness! I remember the people rising up that Christmas hunting down the DRAC taking back their freedom with such rifles.
