This was installed new in July of 2019 when we purchased the house. It worked excellent but had to have it removed this past January (back story below).
Located in NW las Vegas.
Noritz Model EZ98DV
180,000 BTUs
Rated at 214 Gal/hr.
$300
Includes everything needed to operate and install including operating and installation documents. Also includes circulator system.
Back story:
Purchased the house and had the instant hot it installed in July 2019. It was installed by a plumber referred to us by our real estate agent.
The heater seen very little use until my wife and I actually moved into the house in may of 2021.
In July of 2021 we started an inground pool installation & backyard patio upgrade.
During the final city inspection while inspecting the new gas line for the pool heater, the inspector flagged the installation of the instant hot water heater (he inspected everything connected to gas).
Apparently, the instant hot water heater (installed in 2019) was not installed to code as it required a 3/4" gas line whereas there was only a 1/2" gas line supply. Also, the vent was not up to code.
Quotes were coming in at 10k-12k to update the gas line and vent to code. so, instead to paying that much to bring everything up to code for the instant hot we decided to just have a licensed plumber install a regular tank hot water heater. Everything was re-inspected again and passed.
Here we are today with the instant hot sitting on my garage floor.
There is one picture of what it looked like installed back in 2019.
