I have 2 pool pumps. I do not know if they work. They seem intact. One is still in the box. One of my employees is working on getting them tested. There are also 2 of these under counter 110 water heaters. Those have been tested and work. These items came to me in a pallet of other items I bought.

Pumps 300 each

Heaters 125 each.

Located in Las Vegas.

Would you mind a better description or, pictures of the pump and, motor? I can see the brand names after that I'm having trouble finding accurate information them to see if this may, or, may not work for me.

2hp Jandy single speed, in ground pool pump..Plus HP model..2” threaded in/out. Also plumbs with unions that may or may not be in the box depending on package. Top quality 115/230 Century Electric motor. The best pump made by Jandy, IMO.......New pumps, no reason that they wouldn’t work and no way to really test without installing. Don’t run the motors dry, will burn the motor shaft seal and quick.

^ hey Fogie I know this is your area of expertise.

Would those pumps work to replace a 2HP Pentair pump? How much extra work to hook it up?

I think this model:

https://www.amazon.com/Pentair-3400...ool+pump+2+hp&qid=1551321811&s=gateway&sr=8-3

Seems like one of mine craps out every couple of years, and it's been a couple of years - usually just get a cheap rebuilt one put on.

Considering buying one of the above pumps for a spare.

Inlet heights are different as are the distance from inlet to discharge..Can always work, though.
If you have a spare, you will never need it..-)

Thanks for your help on this. I know ZERO about them. Selling these items just helps me make some of my cash back on the things I wanted off the pallet. I have a couple of other items to add. If for some reason the pumps wouldnt work out for you after you get it home I would be fine refunding you.

So instead of plug and play (like the cracked pool filter tank I have replaced twice in 15 years), would prob have to redo some of the PVC piping?

And you're prob right. Would sit in my garage for like a decade if I bought it........
