SOLD - Colt Governmant Model .45acp. This is a "BB" marked transition model manufactured in 1970. Approximately 1500 (Clawson's Colt 45 G'vt Models, 2nd edition) pistols were assembled with the "accurizer" barrel and 4-finger collet bushing and were marked "BB" prior to the start of the "Series 70/Mk IV" production. The "BB" marking is present on the barrel hood and below the serial number on this pistol. The serial number on this pistol falls within the serial number range of "BB" marked transition pistols. Excellent condition mechanically with shiny, defect free, barrel. The exterior blue finish is estimated at 90%. This pistol is factory original except for the stocks which are current Colt OEM. No box or other factory paperwork. Priced at $1800. Can meet at suitable location in No. LAS for transfer of pistol. Buyer pays transfer.
