My research shows that it is a 1946 sw m&p .38 4" barrel. Square butt 6 shooter, single action appears like new. Comes with original gold color box with the waxy paper and the cleaning rod also has the safety handbook it is the blue color. Retail value is $750-875. Actual sale price in gun forums is $560. FYI: You have it listed as " single action " , when it is actually double action with the ability to also be fired single action :)
