I've got a bunch of stuff for sale, prices are negotiable. I'm in Las Vegas near Charleston and Decatur. May be willing to trade for 7.62x39 ammo. All forum rules apply.
First up is a Chinese SKS. It's an early production model (1956-1965), with milled parts, the long barrel lug, cut bayonet lug, and Russian-style rear sight. It appears to have been broken and refit for export, as the receiver was sterilized (markings removed) and given a new serial number, and it has a newer 2-piece gas tube. The rifle is numbers matching except for the fixed magazine. The overall condition is very good, the bluing is still 98%, the chrome-lined barrel is bright with no pitting, and I've had no problems with function at all. The bolt carrier has also been blued.
The rifle is currently in a Choate synthetic stock with recoil pad, a ventilated steel handguard, and an aftermarket dust cover with picatinny rail. The rail is solid; I had a 1-4x28 scope on it and never had any issues with looseness or losing zero. Included with the rifle is the original wood stock (including cleaning kit) and handguard, original dust cover, bayonet handle, three tapco 20-round detachable magazines, 20 stripper clips, and a leather 2-mag carrier.
Price for the package is $450 FTF in Vegas. The pictured fixed magazine is not included.
Next is an Ultimak handguard/picatinny rail for the Ruger mini 30, pre-2007 according to the manufacturer, with the thinner barrel. It’s in like new condition and comes with all hardware, instructions, wrenches, and original packaging. $85
Weaver 6-hole tactical rings, 30mm, medium height. These are in very good condition, quick-detach and include the hex key. $25
Thanks for looking,
Alan
