It is a Gen 2, I installed the Timney trigger, upgraded charging handle and new style stock, I wasn't a fan of the collapsing model. The gun only has a few rounds through it though, less than 50 rounds. Runs flawlessly.

I thought it was a Gen 3 because of the handguard . When I was looking at one online I contacted sig because I couldn’t figure out what gen it was. Sig told me the gen 2 still had key mod

The 8" barrel? Oh yes, it is the most fun and exciting length barrel to shoot.
