Those old Nova cars were a great foundation to become wicked fast. My best friend had a ‘69 4 speed car which we upgraded to an LT1 solid lifter cam. My God that car was fast, even by today‘s standards. The bottom end was built to take some abuse as well.
Hat tip to my buddy’s 1970 ‘Cuda 440 which was professionally built ported/polished heads running 10’s. I don’t think many people realize just how fast a 10 second car feels like.
