Just what is the process if I want to buy something from a private party

We agree on a price. Decide what gun dealer( store) to do the exchange and transfer paperwork. You pay the small fee 25-35 dollars I believe and they transfer it to you. I get paid and you get the gun. Of course they do a background check if needed. I think that is it. There is a detailed breakdown on this site under gun sale rules

Its basically the same as buying it from the gun store but its a gun from someone else
