Up for sale is a Sears Model 54 chambered in 30-30, the poor man's Winchester Model 94. These guns were made for Sears under contract to Winchester. This one is marked Sears. Most likely manufactured sometime in the late 1960s (Post 64). The wood is in good shape. The bluing on the barrel is in good shape. The cheaper coating (Called a BM coating) they put on the receiver instead of the blue of pre 64 Win 94s is missing in a few places and there are also a few minor scratches here and there. The loading gate is silver in color. It does not have a cross bolt safety and it does have a half-cock hammer. Overall for a gun of its age it is not in bad shape, most likely fair to good.
