Romarm Cugir Champion 2007 in 556, upgraded by M13 Industries.
The original factory 12” barrel was swapped out to a Rosco barrel because it was defective, the barrel journal was slightly undersized, where it would cause failures to eject and extract. The rear trunnion was converted to 5.5mm sidefolder by the Rifle Dynamic back in 2008, according to the previous owner, he SBR’ed it and unregistered to revert back to pistol before I purchased it, the old engraving is still on the receiver. RD also cerakote the pistol in a gray/blue-ish color, I didn’t like the color so I sprayed painted the gun couple times to cover it up. That’s why the finish is kinda (s**t).
-Rosco 556 14.5” barrel from Arms of America, installed by m13 industries
-Rearden Plan B flash hider pinned and welded to make 16” also done by m13
-Occam Defense Adjustable gas block
-sight block swapped to Sabrewerks KOP(Kalashnikov Optic Platform)
After the barrel swap this thing runs like a true champion, super fun to shoot, almost no recoil by dialing down the gas setting. I have taken to matches several times, eats all kind of ammo I feed it now.
It’s definitely not a collector piece at this point but this is a great shooter for all the upgrades that was done.
Takes Romanian Wasr3 or East German Weiger mags, AC Unity AK19 clone mag, Surplus Russian 74 mag with Podarms Follower; Does not take circle 10 or FB Beryl or WBP 556 mag
I will included the four Romanian wasr3 556 mag, and one AC unity Ak19 mag.
I picked up a meridian 102 so I won’t need this anymore, not much of a 556 Ak person but u kinda have to have one in the safe.

I’m more interested to sell it to someone local so I don’t have to ship it some yokel on the side of the country, y’all want a 556 Ak now u have it!
