For sale is an excellent condition restored Remington 1903A3. This has been restored from a drill rifle and completely safe to shoot. The 1903A3 rifles were made during WWII by Remington and Smith and Corona.

This one has:
-Remington receiver with all Remington parts.
-New 4 groove Criterion barrel.
-New bolt that had been lapped to receiver lugs
-NOS scant stock with nice grain.

Hello, is the barrel clocked correctly on the 1903A3? I’ve seen in the past where drill rifle barrels did not clock correctly. Do the sights line up center? Got burned once on one of these so just asking.

Wow what a great deal! If I didn't have three of them already, (one from you lemmonhead) I would jump on it.

I've won matches with a 1903 rifle that he built.. These types of rifles are the principle part of my collection. I can attest to the quality of the rifles that he restores.

Knock this (s**t) off…I’m trying to downsize, not buy new rifles…

So just to be clear for this FOR SALE thread, that has NOTHING to do with the fine rifles built by this member with an outstanding reputation for both shooting and building them.

That issue is also completely independent of whether it had ever been a drill rifle.

Understood, this spun out of control it seems. At first, I simply asked the gentleman about the construction of his rifle. Apologies for going down the rabbit hole, take care!
