I'll just remind myself I got in on the springfield gearup promotion last month and got 3 free mags out of it. But on that purchase, I also took advantage of the springfield registration to buy mags at discounted prices. Which was still more than double this sales price though.

I've purchased many mags for this gun in the 10 years I've had it. Never had one fail, and have a few in the package, but you just never know. And, like an AR kit for $300; a $10 XD mag that I don't need was just too hard to pass up.
