Finished painting and installing +4" fiberglass fenders to make room for the long travel kit going on this week. I need to shim up some of the gaps to make them even. She'll be 5" wider per side and pull about twice the travel as stock while maintaining 4wd. Will be running king 3.0 coilovers and bypass in the front.

Also have 17" methods with 37" BFG Baja T/As going on with 4.88 gears and rear bedsides. Anyone here besides 4x4brit into prerunners?

Roach, It will be too pretty to pre run. You will be afraid to scratch it!!!! Looks great....:thumbup1:

^^ thanks. I bought it specifically to build a Prerunner so I've accepted that it's gonna get thrashed. The good news is I can now paint it when it does.

Returning from an overnighter in Carpenter Canyon. Carpenter Canyon Road has taken a beating from the rains over the past few weeks.

you mean its not a mall crawler!!!

its funny when people call me crazy cause i have scratches on my truck. im like i use it to hunt and fish as well as fun... paint is cosmetic, ill guarantee my motor is more well kept then theirs...

Also if you prerun it please get your lights adjusted for the added elevation. I hate those brodozers that are lifted and the lights are straight in your eyes.

lol good tip I hadn't even thought about that. By my calculations the tires are gonna add about 3" and the long travel another 4" so I'll have a bit of that Cali lean until I save up enough to do the back.

So is there an off-road club that most Nevada Shooters are part of?

I've got a Jeep that I'm slowly working on in my garage, but not many people I know enjoy off-roading.

I'm just looking for like minded people, who are laid back and aren't going to freak if I bring a couple guns on the trail.

i think depending on your vehicle there will be a club. i run with clubfrontiers.org which is mainly nissan frontiers. the guys i run with all own guns and dont freak out at firearms.

maybe try out http://www.wranglerforum.com/f56/

alot of jeepers that use their jeeps for tarails are outdoorsmen and are ok with guns. its the ones that are pristine 10k into them and the most off roading they see is when they are texting and hit the shoulder of the road that are possibly anti.

ClubFrontiers/Silver State Nissans are always cool with other vehicles tagging along. Were all gun guys also. I will try to remember to post on here or PM when were planning something. We have so many areas to post that I always forget about here.

Picked this up today. Atlas Tcase, Dana 60 front 14 bolt rear. ARb lockers, 5:13 gears, 42" IROKs and ORI struts all the way around.

This is my daily driver, but it gets dirty too. With the 5.9L V8 and limited slip in the rear it does well. I know I have better pics, but can't find them right now.

Had to order a one piece front clip the aftermarket fenders with a 4" bulge are still limiting the up travel.
