A little fun out at Apex

Its a good place to just drive and explore. We were out there for four hours mostly on the trails trying to find challenging things to do. Best part is when you run into the guys driving the sport buggies and they say "are you guys really going up that?" Lol, your damn right we are.

I can finally join in as of Saturday when I picked this up.

2013 Tacoma 4x4 with 16k miles.

I don't have much experience four wheeling but I'm wanting to learn.

Heck yeah!! There is a hill going up(I'll take a picture next time) that all 3 of us went up it. Some guys on atv's could just barley make it up That same hill. We spent about 3 hours just exploring. I love the dunes. It has been a really long time since I last was at apex. Last time I was there I flipped a brand new Kawasaki, not a good day.

Looked better with dirt and dust on.

^^agree. Made getting to the shooting spot way more fun. Time to go find some aluminum cans like the bums to recycle. Wonder how many cans it would take for a long travel kit?

Haha, we might be out there a while. Maybe we can get some tips from the couple at the LR spot.

I bet I could make $100 off recycling brass at the hubcap spot. Too bad I'm lazy. I might just need to give myself a raise instead.

Better move me thinks.

A 2fer, but holy **** it's hot. I think I'm going to wait until late afternoon.

How funny. Pretty sure I saw you driving sometime this week (can't remember which day). I thought to myself, "damn, that's a pretty cool avalanche".

Did a ton of work to the suspension, but wish I could run bigger(taller) tire without it rubbing? But thanks. It's strictly set up for hunting. I just finished to top rack with a front 52" led light bar, two 30" green hog hunting light bars on each side and a 20" led bar facing the rear. Matches the rear spare tire rack. I carry two spares. Just in case, especially where I go. But the vehicle is heavy!
