Post your offroad vehicle

Yeah those Raptors are awesome. My friend just bought a 2011.

Too rich for my blood :)

Ouch.

Hey I paid $700 a month for my wife's Camry  That was a shorter loan though.

Welcome to Pahrump!

That your rig ?

I used to have a '96 AMC Hummer. Had the turbo diesel engine, was dark metallic green with grey interior. That was 9 years ago and I dont have pics of it online.

Traded that straight up for a brand new 2002 Chevy Avalanche Z66, fully loaded.

Kept that for 9 months, traded it in for a '03 Hummer H2.

Got rid of that after a while, played around with a '94 Chevy Blazer that I wish I had taken pics of.

Bought this FX4 brand new in '05, and liked it so much that I kept it for 5 years. Thats very unusual for me. Only had 40k miles on when I got rid of it.

I had this '91 Jeep Wrangler for about a year, sold it last May.

Traded my '05 FX4 for this thing I'm driving now. Its go the 6.2L engine, in-dash nav system, heated seats, all that crap that comes with a $52k truck. Best thing is 411hp.

I've had a crapload of dirtbikes and quads. But my favorite offroad vehicles were my planes. Had a '66 Piper Cherokee 140, a Pulsar XP, and a Glasair 1 that was still under construction. I miss flying. Sold all three of them when I moved to Vegas in early '03.

My Pulsar was the most fun.

Offroad is where the most fun is.

got this a couple months ago, been putting in some work on it here and there. Rebuilt the top end, RC 3" lift, 31" Hankook dynapro MTs. Will hopefully wheel it for the first time here once it cools down.

Nice XJ mine never ceases to impress me with her abilities.

Mine just has 2" lift on 30x9.5's.

I'm not in a big rush to do any serious upgrades because I bought her with the specific intent to off road her a lot, so I have, and she tackles everything in stride.

I used to wheel H1's for 15 hours a day on some crazy Kosovo trails. I must say the XJ's capabilities impress me more than the H1's ever did.

WOW, bold statement! :ihih: I havent had a chance to take her out yet, as I had LOTS of mechanic problems when I got her. Got the XJ running, just trying to get some miles on it so I can smog and register her. Cant wait to hit the trails!!!

LOL!!! i was scrolling through this thread and all of a sudden, there's a pic of my suburban! i didnt know my brother had posted it on here..

it's an 89 GMC suburban with 4" of lift and 37" goodyears on it. the rear axle is a 14 bolt with a detroit locker in it, front axle is a 10 bolt, soon to be swapped for a Dana 60. currently the engine, trans and transfer case are out of it awaiting rebuilds as the truck sat un-used for 5-6yrs while i played with quads and smaller trucks. she's sitting in my driveway now, i work on her some here and there when i have time/money.

I had this for about a year, but had to trade it because the wife couldn't drive it when she needed to use it. She's partially blind in her right eye and the blind spots made it hard for her to see out the right side.
