Guppy looking for some help !! THX
The easiest way (for me at least) is to uppload them to photobucket and then there is a link they give you under each picture that you cut and paste into your message and it magically appears.

PM me if you need mroe help and I can walk through it with you.

Kinda getting tired of seeing trading post threads w/o any images of the item(s). Please make sure you HAVE photos for the item when you post.

I don't need to get all medieval around here.

Photo Help

Finally figured it out myself. This explaination may help the other dinosaurs out there: 1) After your photos are uploaded to an album at www.photobucket.com, 2) place curser on individual photo, which will open a drop-down box with four selections, 3) left click on the lower item marked 'IMG Code' to highlight it, 4) do a right click on the code and select 'Copy', 5) go to your message being edited at Nevada Shooters (I found it easist to open Internet Explorer for one website and Outlook for the other, so I could skip back and forth), 6) place your curser where you want the photo (ie, write a description of the item being sold then skip to the next line where your photo will be), do a right mouse click and 'Paste' the code into your message (the code, NOT the photo will show up here), 7) after you are finished inserting all of your photo codes 'Save' the message and the photos will show up in your completed message.

Hope this helps.

As far as I know it cannot be done directly from your computer. The photo bucket way also worked on three other For Sale sites that I previously couldn't post photos to. It's a bit of a pain to get it started, but no big deal once you put in the time to figure it out.

I found out that tinypic.com works just as well, and no account/login required. Easier to resize pics, and simple download to a site.

Ok.

I have to bump this thread. It still doesn't get done.

For those of you who don't want to sign up for a photo sharing service, email your pictures, and I will post them for you, in your post. Thats just what a nice guy I am.

Tinypic.com doesn't even need a signup.
It's easy to use (I am not a geek at all. I just learned how to copy & paste about 3 weeks ago, and it's opened up a whole new world.)

Easiest way I found was: www.tinypic.com
Use their browser to find your photo and click open. (The file box should show the URL). Click on resize to message board. Click upload.
When the URL comes up, right click on the one for message boards/forums, click copy, go to the body of you post, click on it, then right click and then click paste.
The URL should appear. (Preview your post - the picture should appear).
I know it's a lot of clicks, but I tried photobucket and a couple others, and they are even more confusing. I'm not real saavy with this stuff, and it was fairly simple for me, once I got the hang of it.
And with Tinypic, you don't need an account unless you want to organize your photos there. It's free to sign up.

Good luck.
