Picked up the barreled upper (without BCG and CH) in partial trade sometime back intending to scavenge the barrel for a project and the upper for another project but never got around to it. Recently picked up a new 10.3 Daniel Defense barrel for that other project so this can go to a good home for abandoned and neglected pets. Pulled it apart (all the way down, including pulling and reseating the gas block) this last week and reassembled it to make sure it was all good. Took it to the range yesterday to function test (with a new Aim Surplus V3 Nitride BCG and PSA CH I had sitting in the shop). Cycled and LRBHO without issue with Wolf Gold and PMC Bronze.

Parts:

• 10.5" Ballistic Advantage Modern Series Nitride 5.56 barrel
• DPMS Heavy slab-side upper (this is a beefy upper and could be a great starting point for another precision build possibly)
• Matrix Arms 'Charlie' 9" key-mod free-float handguard
• Aero Nitride .750 Gas Block
• Aero Stainless Carbine Gas Tube
• KAK A2 Bird Cage Flash Hider (I added this as original assembled upper had a weird muzzle break that was removed and tossed when I reassembled it)
• Aim Surplus V3 Nitride Bolt Carrier Group w/9310 MPI bolt
• PSA Charging Handle

Original owner claims it was assembled and test fired (less than 20 rounds). After I pulled it apart and reassembled it I fired another 12 rounds for basic function test (2x3 rounds of each Wolf Gold and PMC Bronze to test basic cycling and LRBHO). Based on the condition of the parts the original owner's claim appears valid.
