Probably not the right place to ask but...
I've only been on this website for less than a week. I see threads for sellers that have 'PM Sent' in the thread showing interest in the item.
Isn't this done by the system? When I get a PM it isn't being recorded here in the thread.
Or is it an optional thing? Please advise if you have a moment. Thanks in advance.

if you see someone post " PM Sent " that means that they typed that and hit post reply and will send a PM separately.
If they just send you a PM , the system does not post anything in the thread on their behalf.
