So not only did we upgrade to the latest forum software, we also, as of last night, upgraded our server as well. The migration started around 8pm and was completed around 11pm. It may take 12-48 hours for the new nameservers to propagate throughout the interwebs. If you happen to see a message that says the forum is down for maintenance, well, you are looking at the old server. (If you are reading this message or anything posted after 8pm yesterday, you are looking at the new, current server.)

Just wanted to give a shout out to @Marc1 who kicked some serious 🐎 on both the software upgrade with all the custom plug ins, as well as the server upgrade. Thank you!

Here's to hoping for better support from the new host, with less downtime! 🍻

It would have been nice if THAT message had told us what to do about it. I'm not a nerd. It took me two days to get back to normal forum availability, and I'm not sure I'm all there yet.

Once the old server went inactive, I didn't think to put that message there. I don't even think I would have known how to get back to the old server to do it either.

Same for me. Every time I looked at NVS yesterday it said it was down. This morning it worked, but showed it was down again short time later. I checked a different browser and logged in fine. So far no issues since then.

When you say "down" you are meaning closed for maintenance, right?
Not down as in you don't get to the website?
 
Correct. I got this. For two days. Didn't know I was supposed to do anything about it.
