Rio Grande Hot Spot Jump Ring Soldering Machine. Base unit and foot pedal only. This compact benchtop tool is ideal for precise, localized soldering of jump rings and other small metal components, making it popular in jewelry studios and small-scale manufacturing. Specifically designed to permanently fuse solder-filled jump rings (not suitable for other standard soldering jobs). The electrical current that runs through the charged graphite electrode heats the solder core so it flows into the jump ring seam, leaving less to clean up. Extremely localized, adjustable heat won't damage most stones.
Anode, handle, and plier attachments (not included) are available directly from Rio Grande USA. Very Good + condition.
